This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on the BlueSky Removals & Storage website. It tells you what is stored, what information is shared and how you can change your choice.
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We also use local storage, which works in a similar way and keeps information on your own device.
Essential storage we always use
Your cookie choice. When you choose Accept Cookies or Essential cookies only we save your choice in your browser so we do not ask you again on every page. This record holds your choice, the date and time, the country code detected for your visit, the version of our cookie notice and the notice wording. It stays on your device and is not sent to us or to Google.
Location check. To decide whether we must ask for your consent, your browser asks our hosting network which country your visit comes from. Only a two-letter country code is used and it is not stored anywhere except inside your saved choice.
Staff sign-in. Our private staff area uses browser storage to keep team members signed in. This only applies to BlueSky staff and is never used on public pages.
This storage is needed for the website to work and to remember your privacy choice, so it does not require consent.
Advertising cookies (only if you accept)
We use Google Ads to understand when someone who clicked one of our adverts goes on to visit our website. This helps us see which adverts are useful and stop paying for ones that are not.
If you accept, Google may set advertising cookies such as _gcl_au, which normally last around 90 days. When you load a page, Google receives your IP address, browser and device details, the address of the page you are on and the ad click identifier if you arrived from a Google advert.
We have switched off ad personalisation and Google Analytics measurement. We do not send Google your name, phone number, email address, postcodes or any details you type into our quote form. Our private staff pages never load Google Ads.
If you choose Essential cookies only, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the Google Ads tag is not loaded at all.

Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings button at the bottom left of every page. If you withdraw consent, advertising stops straight away and the change applies to all open tabs.
You can also delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Doing this will clear your saved choice and we will ask you again on your next visit.
